The Schillne Retail team joins Orion Investment Real Estate in Scottsdale

Phoenix, Arizona – ORION Investment Real Estate, one of the leading commercial real estate brokerages in the valley continues to expand with the recent addition of The Schillne Retail Team, an experienced retail tenant representation brokerage team.

The partnership is led by senior industry leader, Carol Schillne and her son, Cole Schillne.

Carol brings over 34 years of experience in the industry and as a team, they specialize in tenant representation, work with national brands, franchise concepts, local entrepreneurs, and restauranteurs. Carol and her family moved from California almost 10 years ago and after a couple of years in the private sector, she obtained her Arizona commercial real estate license, working for an international real estate firm. Cole joined the team soon thereafter. ORION’s President Ari Spiro stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Carol and Cole to the ORION team. Their dedication to cultivating long term client partnerships by providing extraordinary service and comprehensive solutions to best-in-class retailers makes them a fabulous addition to our team.”

The Schillne Team works with national retailers and brands, such as Trader Joe’s, Home Depot, Wells Fargo Bank, Chick-fil-A, and Sandbox VR. The team also serves as a Master Broker for tenant clients coordinating the work of local brokers in various markets in identifying sites. With an established track record and expertise, their clients have entrusted The Schillne Retail team with the autonomy and latitude to select and work with the best professionals in the industry.

Four years ago, Carol joined the Colangelo College of Business Advisory Board at Grand Canyon University. She is an advocate for the college and their students, and she is specifically helping them grow their real estate curriculum to include licensing courses. In February, she was also selected as one of the panelist speakers for IREM CCIM Economic Forecast to discuss the latest retail insights in the Arizona market.

Carol and Cole are also very involved in industry-related organizations, such as ICSC, IFA, AZCREW, the Arizona Restaurant Association, and several other retail-based networking organizations. In March, they attended the Entertainment Evolution Experience Conference in Los Angeles and the Franchise Expo West in Phoenix. You can also meet them at the upcoming ICSC 2022 Las Vegas event in May at ORION’s booth.

“We are excited that the move to Orion allows us to expand the platform of services that we offer our clients,” said Carol, concluding that, “ORION shares our ultimate goal of providing extraordinary client-first service.”
