TMA’s 2019 Spring Art Market + Flower Festival March 13 – 17, 2019

TUCSON, ARIZONA — The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block (TMA) is relaunching its popular Spring Artisans Market as the Spring Art Market + Flower Festival, March 13-17, 2019.  The 2019 Spring Art Market + Flower Festival offers a fresh array of fine arts and artisans booths, local food and music, floral displays inside TMA, and free museum admission from Friday-Sunday. TMA is kicking off the weekend celebration with Garden in the Galleries, a special four-day event. Proceeds from both the Spring Art Market + Flower Festival and Garden in the Galleries directly support TMA’s mission of Connecting Art to Life.

►Wednesday, March 13
5:30 – 7:30 p.m., TMA League will be hosting an exclusive preview and reception for Garden in the Galleries prior to the public opening

Tickets for this are $60 for museum members, $70 for non-members. Tickets include one drink, tasting plate by Stillwell House and Garden catering, live performance by Cory Spector, and special after-hours access       to the galleries. ►Thursday, March 14
10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Garden in the Galleries, flower exhibition in the galleries.
Free for TMA members or with museum admission.

►Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; March 15 – 17
10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Art Market + Flower Festival, 100+ artisan booths, local florists/nurseries feature living art, noontime concerts, Garden in the Galleries, food vendors, family-friendly art making activities. On Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., TMALearn!, the museum’s education department, will offer a family-friendly art-making activity in the TMALearn! Creative Space, located in the historic Fish House.

Free and open to the public. Admission to TMA’s galleries is free for the duration of the market and festival.

Organized by TMA’s Museum Store, the Spring Art Market + Flower Festival features over 100 unique and local artists and artisans with crafts, original artwork, pottery, glass, jewelry, textiles, fine art, and gift items. Additionally, local florists and nurseries will participate offering an array of living art. The event also includes food by local vendors, noontime concerts, and other programs throughout the weekend.
