ORO VALLEY, ARIZONA — The Arizona Board of Regents purchased a 38,010-square-foot industrial building located in the Foothills Business Park, 10900 N. Stallard Pl. / 10902 N. Oracle Rd. in Oro Valley.  The property was purchased from Melvin S. Ross Revocable Trust and Chautauqua Investments, LLP for $4.4 million($116 PSF).

The University of Arizona recently received approval from the American Veterinary Medical Association to open the state’s first public College of Veterinary Medicine.  This facility will accommodate the faculty offices and student services for the Vet Med program. The school will be eligible for full accreditation after they graduate their first class of students.

“Agricultural, ranching and related industries drive strong demand for veterinarians in our state and across the nation, and Arizona students will now be able to take advantage of an innovative Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program situated within the land-grant, Research-1 setting provided by the University of Arizona at in-state tuition rates,” said UA president Robert C Robbins.
