TUCSON, Ariz. (September 4, 2025) — The Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter invites members of the commercial real estate and business community to a timely luncheon on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the DoubleTree Reid Park. The event will feature two of the region’s leading voices in economic development: Michael Guymon and Susan Dumon of the newly formed Chamber of Southern Arizona.
This program will highlight the historic merger of Sun Corridor Inc. and the Tucson Metro Chamber, which have united to create a single, powerful force for business growth and regional prosperity. Attendees will gain first-hand insight into how this alignment is designed to strengthen economic competitiveness, foster collaboration, and shape the future of Southern Arizona’s economy.

Michael Guymon, Chief Advocacy Officer
A Tucson native with decades of leadership in political strategy, business advocacy, and organizational management, Michael develops and advances the Chamber’s advocacy and lobbying initiatives. His career includes leadership roles as President & CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber, Vice President of Regional Partnerships for Sun Corridor Inc., and Executive Director of the Metropolitan Pima Alliance. He is a University of Arizona graduate and active community leader, serving on the boards of the Tucson Museum of Art, Pima County Workforce Investment Board, and Rotary Club of Tucson. Outside of his professional life, Michael is a lifelong baseball enthusiast and previously served as the Official Scorer for the Tucson Padres AAA Baseball Club.
Susan Dumon, Chief Economic Development Officer
With more than 20 years of experience in Arizona’s economic development, Susan leads business attraction and strategic initiatives that drive job creation and investment across the region. Her work has supported companies responsible for more than 25,000 jobs and $2 billion in capital investment statewide. She holds degrees from DePauw University and Baruch College (CUNY), and serves on the Pima Community College Foundation Board and the Southern Arizona Workforce Leadership Advisory Council.
