PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 19, 2024) – Wespac Construction, Inc. has announced the groundbreaking of the Papago Golf House, a new 14,100 SF office building located adjacent to the Papago Golf Clubhouse and Pavilion, 5595 E. Karsten Way, as well as the Arizona State University Golf Team Practice Facility.

The project will serve as the headquarters for numerous state and national golf organizations involved with public and recreational golf.

“We are excited to partner with the Arizona Golf Foundation, the City of Phoenix, Troon Golf, Papago Golf Club, and Arizona State University on this important project,” said Kirk Jonovich, Principal/Vice President at Wespac Construction, Inc. “The Papago Golf House will provide a state-of-the-art facility for these organizations, enhancing their ability to promote and support golf at all levels.”

Designed by Douglas Fredrikson Architects, the building will feature a modern and functional design that complements the existing architecture on site. The one-story building will include offices, conference rooms, storage areas, exterior patios, and a courtyard. Parking for the facility will be located west of the building.

The Papago Golf House is a testament to the growing popularity of golf in Arizona. This project will provide a centralized hub for local and national organizations to collaborate, host events, and serve the golf community. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
