Tucson city logoStaff changes have been announced at the City of Tucson in the Department of Development Services that may affect your building projects timeline as the staff and department adjust at the City.

Chris Kiel, Building Official, will be leaving September 4th his position and moving his family to Ohio in order to be closer to relatives.

Ernie Duarte, Director of Planning and Development Services Department, will also be leaving September 18th to accept a position outside the development industry.

Obviously these are both very big changes and it will take some time for staff to adjust and for the department to replace both of these individuals. Tucson Expediting & Development ask that you afford some patience as it navigates the inevitable upcoming issues that these changes may bring about.

We at the Real Estate Daily News will do our best to keep you informed as the city makes decisions and progress regarding staff replacement.
