PHOENIX, Arizona –  PurSuit of Success, CBRE’s city-wide business clothing drive, kicked off Monday, Oct. 9. The two-week drive, which runs through Friday, Oct. 20, benefits women and men in job training programs with much-needed access to professional clothing.

New and gently used items can be donated Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, at CBRE's Phoenix Esplanade office, located at 2415 E. Camelback Road. Additionally, 40 CBRE-managed buildings throughout the Phoenix area are also participating in the drive.

This year, the four beneficiaries of the business clothing drive include:

  • Dress for Success, which seeks to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and career development tools.
  • Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping empower women through services focused on economic self-sufficiency, self-esteem and lifelong learning.
  • Sojourner Center, an organization that provides comprehensive services to address the many ways domestic violence impacts women, children and the community.
  • Joseph the Worker, which assists the homeless, low-income and other disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient through quality employment.

Items that can be donated include all men’s and women’s interview-appropriate suits, shirts, blouses, shoes and accessories as well as professional separates, scrubs and casual clothing. Children’s items such as school uniforms, baby products and baby food can also be donated.

Since 2011, the CBRE Phoenix community has collected more than 18,300 articles of clothing, helping equip hundreds of Valley residents with the skills and apparel needed to work toward financial independence.

For more information and a complete list of accepted items, visit the PurSuit of Success website.
