Arby's Rendering

SAHUARITA, ARIZONA - Arby’s purchased .88 acres of retail land in The Corner at Rancho Sahuarita within the Rancho Sahuarita Master Planned Community for a new Arby’s restaurant.

The site is situated east of the new Fry’s gas station, at the northeast corner of Sahuarita Rd. and Rancho Sahuarita Blvd., and will soon be adjacent to the Sahuarita library under construction.

It was purchased from Rancho Sahuarita, LLC (Jeremy Sharpe, President) for $768,660 ($20 PSF).

Dave Hammack and Aaron LaPrise, Principals and Retail Specialists with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, represented the seller in thie transaction.  Brian Harpel with Velocity Retail represented the buyer.

Dick Holbrook, who owns nine other Arby’s franchises in the greater-Tucson area and one in Sierra Vista, said the goal is to start construction by July 1, and open by early November, Green Valley News reported.

This Sahuarita Arby’s will be his 12th; as he plans to open another soon in Tucson.

This will be the second Arby’s for the Town of Sahuarita. The first is on the I-19 West Frontage Road south of Duval Mine Road.

Arby’s has been remodeling all of its restaurants. The one in Sahuarita was completed recently and Holbrook said half of his existing restaurants have been “re-imaged.”

He said they will be hiring three or four managers and 30 to 35 full- and part-time team members. Interviews will begin after construction is underway; October will be dedicated to training.

For more information, Hammack and LaPrise can be reached at 520.748.7100 and Harpel is at 520-909-8505.
