TUCSON, Arizona, March 30, 2023 – The RecNation RV and Boat Storage at 6455 S Wilmot Road in Tucson sold for $6.3 million ($20.792 per space) for 303 spaces. Built in 2019 on 11-acres, the storage facility  has 12’ x 35’ and 12’ x 40’ covered spaces, and 12’ x 24’ uncovered spaces

The seller, SimonCRE of Scottsdale (Josh Simon, President), developed the facility.

The buyer, RecNation, LLC of Wylie, Texas (Gary “Wojo” Wojtaszek, CEO & Founder), has locations in Mesa, Florida, Kansas, Tennessee and Texas.

RecNation is a family-run business that designs, builds, and operates premium-class facilities. Our attentive and knowledgeable team of experts is fully geared toward customers’ needs.

After being president and CEO of a data center firm, Wojtaszek and his wife were planning on touring Europe, but then COVID-19 hit, and the couple bought a camper and decided to head west to camp and explore! Their first roadblock was finding the best place to store their camper. Wojo couldn’t find a secure, covered facility that suited his needs. And when he asked his friends where they stored their toys, they all seemed to have a similar problem. This was when the lightbulb flickered on, and Wojo created Recreational Realty. What started as a small, family-run business has blossomed into the huge community of outdoor enthusiasts you know today—RecNation.

Both buyer and seller were self-represented in this transaction.
