Assembly & Fabrication Plant Will Employ 200 Workers

PHOENIX, (September 9, 2024) – Quantum Industrial Services, LLC, a vertically integrated mechanical and plumbing contractor, has leased 135,759 square feet of industrial space at 5026 S. Ellsworth Rd. in Mesa to serve as a new pipe fabrication shop to service clients across the Western US.  The facility will house cutting-edge fabrication technologies that enhance precision, productivity, and safety, including the HGG ProCutter and a Novarc Spool Welding Robot.

“Quantum is expanding rapidly, including the acquisition of several companies throughout the Western US,” says Don MacWilliam with Colliers. “The client wanted to create a sizable operation in the East Valley, where one of their acquired companies, Crawford Mechanical Services, is based.  We were able to take advantage of excess inventory and vacancy in this submarket to strike a very beneficial deal for Quantum.”

Don MacWilliam, Payson MacWilliam, Casey Koziol, and Chris Reese of Colliers represented Quantum Industrial Services in the lease negotiation. Chris McClurg and Ken McQueen of Lee & Associates represented Mesa Gateway Owner PH2, LLC, the building's owner. Quantum Industrial Services leased the entire recently completed Building 9 of the industrial park.

Quantum Industrial Services took possession of the new space in mid-July and is currently constructing 27,000 square feet of office space in the building and installing equipment necessary for its operations. As the company rapidly scales, the facility will employ approximately 200 workers, including new hires.

Quantum’s management team has decades of experience scaling companies in the piping fabrication, process piping, and wet and dry mechanical services industry. Their capabilities include major project design, fabrication, construction, special projects, and service & maintenance. Quantum’s commitment to quality and innovation set the company apart as an industry leader.
