KINGMAN STORAGEKingman, AZ -- Phoenix-based AMERCO Real Estate Co., the development and acquisitions entity for The U-Haul Co., has purchased the AAA Safe Self Storage and Mini Mart Portfolio in Kingman, Arizona, for $3,540,000. Located at 4011 Stockton Hill Road and 3179 Harrison Street, the portfolio consisted of 100,600 rentable square feet with 659 drive-up self-storage units and two retail buildings. AMERCO also purchased an adjacent tract of land at the Stockton Hill location with plans to expand operations.

The seller, a family trust, was represented in the transaction by Jeff Gorden, CCIM of Eagle Commercial Realty Services, a real estate broker who specializes in the brokerage of self-storage and RV & boat storage facilities throughout Arizona.
