Coffee franchise opens Mesa, Arizona, drive-through as part of steady market expansion
MESA, ARIZONA, (May 7, 2026) – Phoenix-based retail brokerage specialist Western Retail Advisors (WRA) has completed its fourth lease for Top Fuel Espresso, supporting the homegrown Arizona business as it continues to expand its local footprint.
The new Top Fuel sits on approximately one acre at 2937 E. McKellips Rd., just east of Lindsay Road, in Mesa, Arizona. It includes a unique dual drive-through and menu items including Top Fuel’s locally roasted “1968” espresso blend, specialty iced, hot, blended and energy drinks, sodas, tea, protein shakes and breakfast foods.
Created and founded by Jessica Denison, Top Fuel’s trademark, car-themed atmosphere inspired by Denison’s decade spent in racing, including as a Junior Dragster. It also underscores a commitment to local businesses, with all equipment, beans and baked goods sourced from the metro Phoenix area.

Top Fuel got its start in 2017 at a farmer’s market in Apache Junction. Since then, the business has evolved into four brick-and-mortar locations at 1602 N. Scottsdale Rd. in Tempe, Arizona, 730 W. Guadalupe Rd. in Gilbert, Arizona, and two locations in Mesa - 1520 S. Dobson Rd. and now also on McKellips Road. The company continues to seek new opportunities for expansion.
