CBRE has negotiated the lease of a 36,381-square-foot distribution space located at 4441 W. Polk St. in Phoenix, Ariz. Jerry McCormick, John Werstler and Cooper Fratt with CBRE’s Phoenix office negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant, Hanes Companies, Inc. The landlord, Columbia Industrial Properties West, LLC, was represented by Amr Ceran with Lincoln Property Company.
Hanes Companies, a subsidiary of Leggett and Platt, is a leading supplier, converter and distributor of nonwoven materials, woven fabrics, knits and dye/finish services to marketplaces across the North America and Europe. The company’s plans for the property include a local distribution space for both Hanes products, as well as Leggett & Platt products.
Built in 1985, 4441 W. Polk Street sits in the Papago Industrial Park. The class B industrial property is comprised of 92,293 square feet total and benefits from proximity to the I-10 and I-17 freeways.
A lease for 3,459-square-feet at Tempe Marketplace, located at 2040 East Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ to 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment, Inc., was recently completed. The Landlord is Vestar RW Tempe Marketplace, L.L.C. 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment plans to open in January 2015 in the location. A lease for 2,700-square-feet at 19209 N. 83rd Ave in Peoria, AZ, to Every Dog Has Its Daycare was recently consummated. The owner of the center is Mohr Property, LLC. Jared Lively of Rein & Grossoehme represented the owner and the tenant.
