Marana's 237,000-square-foot store has 122,000 square feet of showroom space and 115,000 square feet of warehouse.
TUCSON, AZ (May 7, 2024)—The much-anticipated American Furniture Warehouse is opening its newest store at 6595 W. Marana Center Blvd. in Marana soon. This will be its fourth store in Arizona, adding to the AFW stores in Phoenix, Glendale, and Gilbert. Its newest location in Marana stands out with its expansive 122,000 square feet of showroom space spread across two floors and an additional 115,000 square feet of warehouse operations. That's equivalent to four football stadiums, making it the area's largest single retail footprint.
The store area is home to many dining, entertainment, and shopping destinations, including the 170-acre Marana Center development, which houses Tucson Premium Outlets.
Tucson is Arizona's second-largest city, behind Phoenix and the store is expected to draw from the wide metro population of 1 million plus homeowners and renters in and outside Marana's city limits.
“As part of our commitment to the community, we are planning a soft opening on May 24, followed by a “Backyard BBQ” event on June 8,” AFW reported in a written statement. “On this special day, we will be donating a portion of our sales to the Marana Food Bank, a cause close to our hearts.”
