For over 15 years, the team at American Play Systems, Inc. has been providing people throughout the Tucson area with the supplies they need to have a great time. Whether you need commercial playground equipment for your school, day care facility, or residential equipment for your home, the team of experienced and knowledgeable experts have been delivering results.
American Play Systems (Craig Moore, owner) recently doubled their space with the purchase of a 6,757-square-foot building on 1.12 acres at 2007 N Stone Avenue in Tucson for $400,000 ($59 PSF) and have relocated from their leased premises at 5128 N Casa Grande Hwy in Tucson. The new location will be the company’s state headquarters where they will also be hiring more staff for the added space.
American Play Systems is a locally-owned, family-run business with a second location in Chandler, also run by a family member.
The Stone Ave. property was a former car dealership that was occupied by Pima Community College and an art gallery most recently. We were told by the owner, Craig Moore, that the business has been moving into the new location for the past two weeks, and is open for business, but the official Grand Opening would be sometime in November as there was plenty of work before the new place will be completely ready.
The company recently provided sun shades for several City of Tucson Parks and offers a wide range of products designed to provide comfort and fun to its users, including:
- Commercial playground equipment
- Residential playground equipment
- Site and park furnishings
- Sports equipment
- Shade structures
- Steel Ramada structures
Being family run and operated is demonstrated whenever you stop by American Play Systems, they want you to enjoy yourself and welcome families to bring the kids to try out the various equipment. It’s all meant to be played with, included the mascot of the place Bella, a docile Great Dane who you may have the opportunity to meet.
“American Play Systems is dedicated to providing equipment for a lifetime of fun with a superior level of service to all of its customers, so they continue to come back for all of their playground equipment needs,” said Moore.
