TUCSON, AZ (January 8, 2024) -- Angel Charity for Children will be granting up to $1.3 million in funding to nonprofits in 2024, for projects to improve the quality of life for children in Pima County.

“Angel Charity has a long-standing responsibility to the children in our community. Together with our generous donors, we are dedicated to achieving our ambitious yet critical fundraising goals for 2024”, said Kellie Terhune Neely, 2024 General Chair.

Angel Charity for Children will grant up to $1 million dollars for the Impact Grant Beneficiaries and up to $350,000 for the Opportunity Grant Beneficiaries.

“Each year, our membership participates in our Charity Selection process. Our members are entrusted to fulfill our mission as we review the grant applications, evaluate agency presentations and collectively vote to award funds for local projects that serve the needs of children in our community”, said Kristie Stevens, Chair of Charity Selection.

Any agency, serving the needs of children in Pima County, with a minimum of 3 years 501(c)3 tax exempt status is eligible to apply.
