HR and legal director joins executive team during time of exponential market growth

PHOENIX, ARIZONA —Phoenix-based property management leader Arcadia Management Group (AMG) has promoted long-time employee Chelsea Wardrop to the position of Partner. Wardrop’s promotion follows her more than five years as Human Resources Director and General Counsel for the firm, which provides property management, construction management, maintenance and accounting services for more than 60 million square feet of commercial real estate space across the United States.

“Chelsea has proven time and again that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to,” said Arcadia Management Group President Gary Shaw. “We are grateful for her combination of knowledge and grace, her attention to detail, and her proactive approach to solving problems and capturing opportunity. Those skills are put to work every day at our growing, forward-focused organization.”

Wardrop joined Arcadia Management Group in 2017 as Director of Human Resources. In 2018 that role was expanded to include serving as the company’s General Counsel. In these positions, Wardrop manages corporate contracts, designs and deploys processes that limit risk, and sets and monitors employee policies – all critical to Arcadia’s success as a third-party property management company and construction manager.

As Partner, Wardrop will continue to lead both the HR and legal departments, which she established and has expanded to today serve more than 175 employees and more than 500 office, industrial and retail properties across the U.S.  Wardrop will also now serve on the executive team, responsible for establishing the vision and directing the growth of the Arcadia Management Group organization.

“Arcadia has been on a steep growth trajectory over the last five years. I attribute this to its tremendous leadership and employees, which in turn have created happy clients and tenants,” said Wardrop. “I am honored to serve this team as Partner and appreciate the opportunity to help guide Arcadia toward the many opportunities ahead.”

Wardrop holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Utah, and a J.D. from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School. She is also a licensed member of the State Bar of Arizona.
