AZ Tech Week

TUCSON, AZ (April 8, 2026) -- Arizona Tech Week is underway April 6 through 12, bringing together entrepreneurs, startups, investors, educators, and industry leaders for a statewide showcase of innovation, technology, and collaboration. The week includes more than 400 events across Arizona and highlights the state’s growing tech economy and expanding network of research, business, and startup support organizations.

Southern Arizona plays an important role in this year’s programming, with Tucson serving as host of the local finale event, Pitch, Connect, Celebrate: AZ Tech Week. The event is presented by the University of Arizona Center for Innovation, Startup Tucson, Community Investment Corporation, and Pima County Economic Development, and will feature IdeaFunding finalist presentations along with an introduction to the Kiva Collective, a community-powered initiative that supports entrepreneurs through crowdfunding and community investment.

“AZ Tech Week is an excellent way for Pima County and Southern Arizona to showcase its innovation support ecosystem,” said Pima County Economic Development Director Heath Vescovi-Chiordi. “Pima County is among the most competitive and ambitious in this umbrella industry, and as we grow, participating in events like AZ Tech Week gives us the opportunity to grow and expand our economic and community impact across startups here in Southern Arizona.”

Beyond the pitches, the evening emphasizes connection, bringing together founders, investors, business leaders, and community partners in a dynamic networking environment. It also serves as a celebration of Tucson’s growing reputation as a hub for technology and innovation, supported by partnerships across education, industry, and economic development.
