Phoenix – CBRE was recently honored at the Phoenix chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association’s (BOMA) Annual TOBY Awards. The award, which stands for The Outstanding Building of the Year, recognizes building operations and management.
Three Phoenix-area buildings managed by CBRE Asset Services were honored with TOBY Awards:

MAX at Kierland is a six-story, class A office building located in the prestigious Kierland master-planned community at 16220 N Scottsdale Rd. Senior Real Estate Manager, Maricela Nunez leads the property’s management team. MAX at Kierland is proudly owned by Artis REIT.
“Receiving the TOBY award is a great achievement for these management teams,” said Andi St. John, managing director of CBRE’s Asset Services. “In addition to their experience and outstanding management skill, the award recognizes each manager’s ability to work hand-in-hand with their building’s ownership and add value to the asset.”
Additionally, Shannon Dutton, a real estate manager with CBRE who oversees the property management team at the Arizona Department of Health Services building located at 150 N. 18th Avenue, in Phoenix, Ariz, was recognized with the Principal Member of the Year award.
“Shannon’s hard work and dedication to ensuring successful outcomes for our clients and their properties epitomizes what we look for in our Asset Services professionals,” said St. John. “This award is well-deserved and I could not be prouder.”
BOMA, a trade group for professionals involved in building ownership, management, development, and leasing, recognized the award recipients at a banquet held Nov. 14 at The Renaissance Hotel in downtown Phoenix.
