CBRE has announced that Paul Komadina has been appointed Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for the firm’s Phoenix and Tucson offices, effective immediately. In this role, Mr. Komadina will oversee the firm’s Arizona operations, which encompass two offices and more than 1,000 employees. He assumes the position following five years as Managing Director for CBRE’s San Diego region.

Mr. Komadina will drive the firm’s overall strategy in Arizona and oversee business operations across all lines of business, including Advisory & Transaction Services, Investment Sales, Debt & Structured Finance, Asset Services, Valuation & Advisory Services and Project Management. Cathy Teeter will continue in her role as Managing Director of Advisory & Transaction Services, reporting to Mr. Komadina.
Prior to his role as Managing Director in San Diego, Mr. Komadina served as co-leader of CBRE’s Investment Properties Group in San Diego for seven years, where he excelled in the sales of office and industrial properties throughout San Diego County. Most recently, Mr. Komadina oversaw the transformation of CBRE’s San Diego’s Workplace360 office at the Westfield UTC shopping center.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Mr. Komadina attended Brophy College Preparatory. He returns to Arizona after having lived in San Diego since he attended the University of San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and real estate.
