ABOUT THE ARIZONA INN
Since 1930, the Arizona Inn has stood as one of Tucson’s defining landmarks, shaped by vision, purpose, and a profound sense of place. More than a hotel, it was conceived as a sanctuary of grace in the Sonoran Desert. Today, its signature pink adobe walls and tranquil garden courtyards reflect a legacy that has endured for nearly a century.
Founded by Isabella Greenway, Arizona’s first congresswoman, the Inn was envisioned as both a refined retreat and a purposeful enterprise that supported disabled World War I veterans. Over the generations, it has become deeply woven into Tucson’s cultural fabric and has earned recognition on the National Register of Historic Places.
Today, dedicated local stewardship continues to honor the Inn’s founding principles while thoughtfully preparing it for the century ahead. In 2025, a new chapter began, rooted in preservation, care, and a commitment to elevating the guest experience while safeguarding the character that defines this cherished landmark.
The Arizona Inn is located at 2200 E. Elm Street in the heart of Tucson’s midtown. For additional information, visit www.arizonainn.com or call 520-325-1541.
