PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Clear Title Agency of Arizona, a leader in commercial and residential title and escrow services, distinguished itself during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic by promoting and providing protective measures for its clients and its employees. At the same time, Clear Title continued its commitment to community support despite a pandemic that affected every spectrum of the economy.
Examples of Clear Title’s leadership:
- Community support: Clear Title donated more than 250 hours of marketing support to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley to assist with communication efforts. The facilities stayed open while others were closed and provided critical childcare needs, food and counseling go essential employees across the Valley.
- Client support: Clear Title agents implemented curbside signings and utilized mobile notaries to protect people from gathering indoors while signing closing documents.
- Employee support: Clear Title offered its employees the flexibility to work from home if they had children who were out of school or had family/loved ones who were older or at-risk of contracting the virus. Early in the pandemic, when testing availability was limited, Cleat Title provided an arrangement with a private practice physician to provide testing to at no cost to all employees.
“From the start we were all in this together and did so many things to protect the more vulnerable people in our community as well as our clients and ourselves,” said Clear Title CEO Bart Patterson. “Clear Title takes the health and wellness of our people, clients and community very seriously. We decided to lead the way by taking preventive actions to keep our families and clients safe.”
Additional community support included hosting a PPE drive for Valleywise Health utilizing the seven Valley Clear Title locations as drop-off points; donating over $16,000 to the Northern Arizona community housing fund to help provide affordable housing and payment assistance in Flagstaff; and donating more than $10,000 to Valleywise Health to assist with COVID response efforts.
“Early in the pandemic, Clear Title was one of the first companies to reach out and ask ‘how can we help?’ ” said Nate Lowrie, CEO of Valleywise Health Foundation. “At that time, the front-line responders needed PPE and Clear Title stepped up allowing us to use their offices Valley-wide as donation centers. They also made significant financial contributions that helped provide care to vulnerable populations across our community.”
Additional client support included implementing clean room policies to ensure a safe environment for clients when signing documents; and offering a mobile app, which enables real estate agents and buyers to send earnest money deposits via a mobile device instantly, securely and at no additional cost.
