PIMA COUNTY -- Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation will be conducting a controlled burn of some invasive trees in the Tortolita Mountains as part of a clean-up project at Carpenter Ranch. The ranch is adjacent to an existing Pima County preserve north of Tortolita Mountain Park. Residents should be aware they may see smoke in the area. Schedule may change due to weather.

The controlled burn for Tortolita Mountains is scheduled for April 24-25 and is subject to change due to weather.
