TUCSON, AZ (March 28, 2024) - Tina Olsen, Director of Property Management at Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, recognizes a manager who continuously goes above and beyond for their clients. She is a true professional at all levels in representing her client and company and a considerate, accommodating manager who is a sponge for constant learning and knowledge. She is known for being transparent and attentive to all stakeholders involved and is recognized for her high energy, dependability, and relationship-building. Alexis Ryland was honored with the 2023 award.

Ryland joined C&W PICOR’s property management team in 2022. Immediately preceding her move to Tucson, she was a dedicated stay-at-home parent to her two children. Upon re-entering the workforce, she knew she was interested in real estate and explored this passion. After gaining exposure through roles in lodging and hospitality, residential real estate portfolio management, and office brokerage, including sales, tenant, and landlord representation, Ryland knew where to focus her career: commercial property management.

Ryland said, “When deciding to transition from residential to commercial, I took the time to determine which company in Tucson would be the best fit for me, and I chose right with C&W | PICOR!”

When asked what she likes most about working at C&W | PICOR, she said, “We have the best team! Every single day is something new in property management and I feel very fortunate to have a supportive team to help navigate the unknowns. There is always something new to learn…I never thought I would know so much about plumbing” (she laughs).

Ryland is active in the CRE community with her involvement in the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network and the Cushman & Wakefield Women’s Integrated Network (WIN). She joined CREW when she initially started her role in CRE and has been very active in the Tucson chapter, serving as the board secretary. She says, “CREW has been a place where I can not only network and meet others in the industry, but it has also allowed me to step outside my comfort zone in an environment of supportive, like-minded women.”

In January of this year, she kicked off PICOR’s WIN chapter and is the 2024 lead. WIN is an employee resource group (ERG) through Cushman & Wakefield that supports women's talents to provide professional and personal development. “While we are just getting started, I believe WIN is a place to support growth and foster relationships with coworkers across service lines from brokerage to management, accounting, and admin.”

When asked what was the most valuable lesson she learned in 2023, it would be to slow down – in both her personal and professional life. Take time to enjoy the wins, reflect on what worked and what didn’t, and learn what you can do to improve next time.

Ryland said she will always hold El Dorado Medical Center as her favorite project since working as a Property Manager at C&W | PICOR, but has also recently accepted the lead role managing the Marshall Foundation’s Main Gate Square, a University-adjacent retail project existing to give back. (Keep an eye out for our future press release!) She says, “I am looking forward to working with the on-site team to impact the Foundation that, in turn, provides significant charitable contributions and scholarships that support the Tucson community.”
