Tucson-based Diamondback Police Supply Co., Inc. (Douglas Mackinlay, member) has purchased the former Chicago Music Store for $780,000 ($60 PSF) from 3FRP, LLC (Fred Farsjo, manager) of Tucson. Located at the southwest corner of Broadway and Kolb in the Gaslight Theater shopping center near Diamondback’s current location at 170 S Kolb Rd in Tucson.

The 13,000-square-foot building (built 1970) at 7030 E Broadway Blvd in Tucson has downstairs retail space of 6,500-square-feet and executive suites upstairs ranging from 445-square-feet to the entire 6,500-square-feet, with a balcony facing north.

Diamondback is a full line retail shooting sports store specializing in law enforcement and tactical equipment.  They offer a wide selection of products from major manufacturers including Sigarms, Glock, Remington, Smith & Wesson, Stag Arms, Bushmaster, Mossberg, Federal Ctg., Benchmade, Surefire, Streamlight, Blackhawk, Safariland, Bianchi, and Michaels and the widest selection of holsters and flashlights in Tucson.  They also carry cleaning equipment, knives, gun safes, targets, eye and hearing protection, and a complete inventory of AR-15 parts and accessories.

Diamondback is under construction for TIs and the new location is expected to be ready to move-in by October 1, 2014.
