ORO VALLEY, ARIZONA (June 23, 2023) – After a March 21 fire destroyed the contents of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce office, the Chamber was able to purchase a new headquarters at 1822 E Innovation Park Drive in Oro Valley.

Built in 2009, the 2,116-square-foot office is located in Innovation Corporate Center, near the Oro Valley Hospital and Oro Valley Marketplace, and sold for $505,000 ($239 PSF). With high end finishes, the building has thee offices, two restrooms, and a conference room.

The transaction closed on June 21, 2023.

Batoun Herrington, CCIM, CPM, President and Designated Broker of Branel Real Estate Company in Tucson, represented the Chamber in the purchase.

“We are thrilled to have represented the Chamber in the acquisition of their new office location in this prominent, well-located office park, and expect it will serve as an excellent location for many years to come,” Herrington said. “After enduring the fire earlier this year, it was especially heartwarming that the seller, also a Chamber member, cared impeccably for this beautiful office and left it to the Chamber fully furnished and ready to seamlessly resume in-person operations.”

The Oro Valley Chamber has been able to continue its work and service to the community since the fire in The Post Workspace and continue all community meetings, ribbon cuttings, and shows outside of the Chamber’s office.

Chamber President and CEO Kristen Sharp noted after the fire, “We’re not pausing or closing our doors. We’re still here and still willing to help.”

“The chamber is people; it’s our members. Our staff is still able to help our members, help the community and do our jobs,” Sharp added resolutely when interviewed after the fire.

Kyle Kilgore with NAI Horizon represented the seller, Soss Investments, c/o Donald Soss, Manager.

For more information, Herrington should be reached at 520.524.5248 and Kilgore is at 520.999.3739.
