TUCSON, Ariz. (August 4, 2025) — The Fourth Avenue Merchants Association (FAMA) is now accepting applications for Emerging Artists to participate in the Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair, set for December 12–14, 2025. This annual event, a Tucson tradition for over 50 years, draws more than 300,000 visitors to the historic Fourth Avenue district for three days of art, music, food, and community celebration.

The Emerging Artists Program is designed to spotlight new and up-and-coming talent, offering artists a high-visibility platform to showcase and sell their work alongside hundreds of established artisans from across the nation. Selected participants receive discounted booth space, mentorship opportunities, and promotional support to help them gain exposure and experience in a large-scale festival environment.

“Fourth Avenue has long been a launchpad for creative talent,” said a FAMA spokesperson. “The Emerging Artists Program is our way of investing in the next generation of artists, giving them a chance to shine in front of thousands of art lovers, collectors, and local businesses.”

Applications are open to Southern Arizona artists who are new to large outdoor art fairs or just beginning their professional art careers. All mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, photography, mixed media, and more. Preference is given to artists who demonstrate originality, creativity, and a strong passion for their craft.

The Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair has become one of the largest arts events in the Southwest, featuring over 350 artists, live entertainment on multiple stages, a variety of food vendors, family-friendly activities, and the charm of Tucson’s historic Fourth Avenue shopping district. Proceeds from the fair directly support FAMA’s year-round mission to maintain public spaces, market local merchants, and provide resources for the community.

How to Apply

Interested emerging artists are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible, as space in this special program is limited. Applications and full guidelines are available online at W25-Emerging-Artist-Booth-Application.pdf
