TUCSON, ARIZONA – Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), announced Tuesday the hiring of a top investment sales team out of Tucson, Arizona. Clint Wadlund and Arthur “Art” Wadlund have joined the firm’s Tucson office. Clint and Art, senior vice president and senior managing director respectively, will be accompanied by their support team Lisa Ringo and Krista Ying.

“Adding Clint and Art to our existing IPA team of Steve Gebing, Cliff David and Hamid Panahi further enhances our dominant multifamily investment sales force in Arizona,” said Ryan Sarbinoff, regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Phoenix office. “We are confident this addition will provide tremendous benefit to our clients throughout Arizona and the Southwestern United States as we continue to expand our institutional practice.”

Art’s professional history includes being a founding member of Hendricks & Partners, now known as Berkadia. Since Clint joined Art in 2013, the Wadlunds have completed over 170 transactions valued at more than $3.5 billion. In addition to Arizona, the team has transactional experience in New Mexico and Texas.

“With the added resources and brand awareness associated with the prestigious history of IPA, we are excited to provide additional opportunities for our clients to expand and grow their investment portfolios,” said Art. “Our combined market share accounted for 72% of the total sales volume in Tucson in 2021. The merging of all of our market knowledge and experience is an ideal scenario for providing enhanced investment services to multifamily investors,” added Panahi.

“With a strong overlap in client relationships, we value the high-level of professionalism and success that Clint, Art and their team provide to our collective client base. Their ability to adapt to ever-changing market conditions complements our team, and by joining forces, IPA will further cement itself as the leading multifamily investment sales platform in Arizona and the Southwestern United States,” said Gebing, IPA executive managing director investments.
