WHAT: Stuff the “Piggy Bank” Bus

WHY: Cash donations leveraged 2:1 to buy school supplies
On July 25, the Tucson Association of REALTORS® (TAR) will present a special event to launch the 6th Annual Tucson Supplies Teachers Drive in partnership with Tucson Values Teachers (TVT). Because TVT can leverage cash donations at 2-to-1, the REALTORS® will focus on collecting cash donations instead of actual school supplies.
The event features a twist on the traditional “Stuff the Bus” theme. Instead, contributors are being asked to stuff a “Piggy Bank” Bus with cash donations. To provide donors with their tax-deductible receipt immediately, donors are asked to make their checks payable to the Tucson REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (TRCF). TRCF is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization; the Tax ID # is 26-0844174.
Open to the public, the event will be held at TAR with tents, food and drink giveaways, and other special activities.
