Tucson, AZ - Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter members are recognized leaders in the commercial real estate community, driving business expansion, job growth, and innovation with their expertise.
The focus of this month’s CCIM Chapter meeting will be turning a spotlight on local manufacturing. Chapter President, Brandon Rodgers, CCIM, will moderate a panel discussion with three significant local manufacturers. Exploring their specializations as manufacturers and business owners in Southern Arizona, a chance to query their perspectives on labor force, regulatory environment and of course real estate related issues.
The panel participants will be as follows:
Bill Assenmacher, President & CEO, of CAID Industries, a diverse metal fabricator that manufactures everything from specialized carbon steel heat exchangers, electro polished stainless steel wind tunnel components, pump barges, cold boxes that weigh over 150 tons, tanks and pressure vessels. CAID Industries was named Manufacturer of the Year by Arizona Technology Council for 2014. Since 1947 CAID has forged a leadership role in the metal fabrication industry in the Southwest, all from its 150,000-square-foot Tucson facility.
Tom Rogers, President & CEO, of R & R Products, a leading manufacturer and supplier of mowing equipment and hovering trimmers for the commercial golf and turf industry. It offers replacement parts for the industry including golf practice range products. Since 1971, R& R Products has been a family owned and operated business, with over 275 employees. In order to stay competitive with original equipment manufacturers R&R maintains complete control of all facets of the manufacturing processes in its modern manufacturing and automated warehousing facilities of 300,000-square-feet in Tucson.
Mitch Pisik, President & CEO, of Tattoo Manufacturing International (TMI), the world’s largest manufacturer of temporary tattoos. Founded in 1989 the company ships 7 million tattoos every day from its Tucson headquarters. All made in the USA and exported to 80 countries, with a 90% share in North America and a 65% share globally. In 2013, the US Small Business Administration named TMI both the Arizona and Pacific Region Small Business Exporter of the Year. TMI employs more than 100 employees at its 42,500-square-foot facility in Tucson.
The luncheon and panel discussion will be Tuesday, May 12th from noon to 1:15 at Tucson Association of Realtors building, 2445 N Tucson Blvd. Registration begins at 11:30
