MARANA, Ariz. (Nov. 14, 2024) – Amavida Marana, the newest luxury community in Marana, Ariz., is hosting a grand opening event and charity pickleball tournament on November 15 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Amavida Marana, owned by Ascent Companies & Vanderbuild and managed by Bryten Real Estate Partners, offers its new residents unique outdoor amenities including four private, enclosed pickleball courts, making it a perfect place to host a charity pickleball tournament.

All funds raised during the tournament and grand opening will benefit Chicanos por la Causa, a nonprofit organization providing health and human services, housing, education and economic development to communities in need.

“Chicanos por la Causa symbolizes the power of second chances,” said Brad Richardson, principal of Ascent Companies & Vanderbuild. “Their mission resonates deeply with Amavida Marana's commitment to giving back to the community and fostering an engaging environment for everyone. We are looking forward to hosting such a fun event and raising money to support a worthy cause.”

The cost is $25 to enter the pickleball tournament, but the event is free and open to the public. Property tours of the community and opportunities to view some of the units will be available. In addition to Bryten and Ascent Companies, the Mayor of Marana, Ed Honea, and town council members will attend to help unveil the new community.

Amavida Marana features 200 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes with upgraded in-home amenities including smart thermostats, nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances and vinyl wood flooring.

In addition to the private pickleball courts, residents will have access to a private four-acre, gated community park with a playground, a walking and jogging loop, and an enclosed dog park. The community also features electric vehicle charging stations, an indoor/outdoor fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub, pet washing stations and a clubhouse.

“The charity pickleball tournament and grand opening are a great way introduce the new Amavida Marana to our community,” said Vice President of New Development at Bryten, Amity Dalton. “With many unique features and a genuine care for the success of the city and its residents, Amavida Marana is a perfect place to connect, play and live.”

Located at 5555 W Ina Rd., Amavida Marana is conveniently situated near the 131-mile Tucson Loop, Chuck Huckelberry Bike Path, Saguaro National Park, Arizona Pavilions Shopping Center and Tucson Premium Outlets.
