PHOENIX, ARIZ. -- MEB Management Services has bolstered its build-to-rent operations with the hiring of industry expert Jay Dassele as Asset Director.

Dassele will oversee part of MEB’s build-to-rent properties and operations for large multifamily properties. He will be responsible for directing and providing assistance for all aspects of the operations to ensure ownership objectives are achieved.

Dassele joins MEB Management Services after previously working at Alliance Residential.

“We couldn't be happier than to have Jay oversee part of our build-to-rent portfolio,” said MEB Senior Vice President of Operations Ann Boomsma. “With his expertise in new development and operations for large multi-family properties, he is a great addition to our team.”

The hiring of Dassele represents the continued growth of MEB’s footprint in Arizona’s multi-family industry. In March, MEB named multi-family expert Scott Cook as an Owner and Principal. Cook joined MEB from Greystar Real Estate Partners.

Prior to joining MEB, Dassele served as a senior regional manager at Alliance Residential Company. He also previously worked at Stellar Residential and Mark-Taylor Residential.

Dassele is an active participant in the Arizona Multifamily Association (AMA), a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) through the National Apartment Association (NAA) and holds a real estate license with the Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE). He possesses more than 20 years in multi-family leadership.

During his career, Dassele has overseen the lease-up and stabilization of more than 20 Class-A communities in Metro Phoenix.
