TUCSON, ARIZONA (July 29, 2026) — The Vamos a Tucson Mexican Baseball Fiesta will return to Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium Oct. 1–4, 2026, marking the event’s 15th anniversary and “quinceañera” celebration.
Presented by Dos Equis and Vantage West, the four-day event will feature professional baseball, live music, culinary traditions and community activities celebrating Mexican culture and the sport’s longstanding connection to the Tucson region.
This year’s event will include a change to the traditional University of Arizona Wildcats matchup. The Wildcats will face the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in the opening game of the tournament on Oct. 1.
The participating lineup will also include the Yaquis de Obregón, Águilas de Mexicali and Jaguares de Nayarit of the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico.
Post-game concerts, promotional nights and additional community-focused events are also planned, with further details expected to be announced.
“The Tucson community has welcomed the Mexican Baseball Fiesta with open arms since our first year in 2011,” said Francisco Gamez, founder of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta. “Our mission has always been to serve as a cultural bridge through baseball and entertainment. This year is incredibly special as we celebrate our 15th anniversary—our quinceañera—with a massive matchup right out of the gate between UofA and the Naranjeros.”
Kino Sports Complex will again serve as the Tucson home of the event.

Mark Papoccia, chief commercial and impact officer at Vantage West, said the event provides an opportunity to bring people together across generations, cultures and backgrounds.
“We’re proud to support an event that celebrates the rich traditions of our region while creating opportunities for families, neighbors and fans to connect, celebrate and make lasting memories,” Papoccia said.
Tickets went on sale July 27 at noon. Box seats are priced at $28, adult general admission is $23, and tickets for students ages 6 to 16 and seniors are $10. Children younger than 6 may attend free of charge.
