Poston House Inn, Tubac

After an extensive remodel the historic Poston House has opened its doors to visitors around the world as the new Poston House Inn. A building of historic significance located on one acre in the historic district of Tubac, Arizona has been transformed into a charming Bed & Breakfast. The Poston House Inn, former home of Arizona pioneer Charles Poston, is comprised of several authentic adobe buildings including four en suite rooms, a sunny breakfast room, lounge and reception area. Outdoor areas include a delightful gazebo and five pools. The southwest ambiance is highlighted by wood beamed ceilings, shady patios, Talavera and Saltillo tile and handmade platform beds.

Owners, Mary and Don Robidoux, hoteliers since 1983, purchased and renovated the property in keeping with its historic past and beautiful setting. Charles Poston was a dreamer, visionary, tireless promoter and dynamic entrepreneur. Affectionately known as the “Father of Arizona” Poston arrived in Tubac as the Gadsden Purchase was being ratified, with Southern Arizona becoming part of the United States. In 1885 Poston built his adobe house next to the old Spanish Presidio and began his legacy by forming the Sonora Mining and Exploration Company.

Today the Inn features 21st century amenities and technology, including high speed wireless Internet, spa services by appointment and five pools including one swimming pool with two ‘endless’ swimming stations, four soaking pools and a hot tub. Served daily is a delightful breakfast buffet with a variety of fresh fruits, croissants, juice, yogurt, hot and cold cereals pastries and made-to-order quesadillas. The expansive courtyard with alfresco kitchen and bar, make it a perfect gathering place. The Inn is gated and suites have private entrance. The Inn is pet friendly and is located just steps from the Tubac Presidio and over 100 shops and fine art galleries in the Village of Tubac.

"The Inn may very well be the only B & B in the country that has as many pools as it has rooms," according to Don Robidoux.

Just 40 minutes from Tucson Arizona, the Poston House Inn is located at 16 Calle Iglesia in Tubac, Arizona 85646. For more information please visit the website at https://www.TubacPostonHouseInn.com or call (520) 398-3193.
