Colliers International Negotiates Sale of Latest Design for Freestanding Store with Drive-Thru
Phoenix, Arizona – A newly built, freestanding Starbucks with drive-thru at 1252 S. Country Club Dr. in Mesa has sold to a California investor.
The 2,400-square-foot store was constructed in 2019 by Avalon Development of Scottsdale. It is situated less than a half-mile north of US 60 Highway, which serves as a popular commuting route for Mesa residents. The nearest freestanding Starbucks stores north of the freeway are two miles west and seven miles east of this facility. The store sits just south of Southern Avenue, which experiences more than 73,000 vehicles per day traveling through the intersection with Country Club Drive.
“Starbucks recently entered into a 10-year lease on this property,” says Mindy Korth, executive vice president with Colliers International in Arizona. “This long-term lease from a global, investment-grade brand within one of the most densely populated areas of Mesa nearly guarantees success for the tenant and the buyer.”
Korth, John Jackson, and Sean Westfall of Colliers International in Arizona represented Avalon Development in the sale. WA Thompson was the buyer.
