The Pearl at The Bridges in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (May 19, 2025) – Locally owned and operated Pepper Viner Homes has been awarded the prestigious Builder of the Year honor by the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) for a record-setting eighth time—reinforcing its status as one of the most respected names in Southern Arizona’s homebuilding industry.

“We are honored to be ranked among Tucson’s best homebuilders,” said CEO Bill Viner. “Most of all, we appreciate this recognition from our peers. It affirms that our work is making a difference and that, together, we’re helping build a stronger community.”

Founded in 1985, Pepper Viner Homes has delivered over 2,500 homes across 40-plus communities throughout the region, consistently setting the standard for innovative, sustainable, and customer-focused residential design. In 2024, the company was acquired by Bourn Companies, a Tucson-based real estate developer known for more than 6 million square feet of transformative projects across the Southwest.

Current active communities include Pinnacle at Del Lago in Vail and The Pearl at The Bridges in Tucson, with two additional developments expected to launch by the end of 2025.
