PIMA COUNTY, (May 23, 2024) – Pima County’s pools will open this Saturday, May 25, for the 2024 summer season.
“We are super excited to welcome everyone to the Pima County swimming pools this summer,” said Grant Bourguet, recreation superintendent for Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation.
Pima County's aquatics program operates nine public pools and two splash pads. Admission to all pools is $1 for children 17 and under and $3 for adults 18 and up. The county also offers a 24-entry swim pass, which costs $60 for adults and $20 for children.
Pool admission is halved for adults and children who meet the low-income standard as defined by the 2024 federal low-income guidelines, adults with disabilities, and adults 65 years of age and older. All admission fees are cash only.
In addition to open swimming, the NRPR aquatics program offers a youth swim team program, swim lessons, water aerobics, and private pool and partial party zone rentals.
Each pool and splash pad has its hours of operation, which can be found at www.pima.gov/pools.
All pools will be open Memorial Day, May 27, from 1 to 5 p.m.
