The Rancho Sahuarita Community Comes Together to Support the Local School District and Help Provide the Best Future for Local Children

Sahuarita, Arizona - December 15, 2022 – As a result of this year’s election, Sahuarita voters passed two budget override continuations, which was the fifth successful voting result in support of the Sahuarita public school system. Rancho Sahuarita is a community that understands the value of quality education and has historically supported the work and efforts of the Sahuarita Unified School District (SUSD) to help keep its classes, programs, and teams well-funded, equipped, and thriving.

Jeremy Sharpe, Managing Partner of Rancho Sahuarita says, “At Rancho Sahuarita, we live by our Mission of “Creating a Better Life.” To achieve this quality of life, Rancho Sahuarita and the Sahuarita Unified School District are partners in pioneering education and opportunities for students.”

The relationship between Rancho Sahuarita and the SUSD has always been a symbiotic one, providing extracurricular resources for the children living within the community. Rancho Sahuarita is a community that values the incredible work and dedication of the public school teachers and staff, always being aware of the importance of supporting funding for the public school district.

Superintendent Manuel Valenzuela says the partnership between Rancho Sahuarita and the Sahuarita Unified School District has “contributed greatly to the prosperity and success of the school district, and begins with a shared vision of leadership and a real sincere belief that if we work with intentionality to talk, to listen, to understand, our unique needs, where they intersect, and how we can leverage our special resources and talents and people, that we can forge a unified direction that’s going to make us stronger than either of our entities would be if we were just trying to go it alone.”

“Children are tomorrow’s community leaders, business owners, service industry employees, technology developers, medical experts, and our future families. Our children deserve great schools,” says David Taylor, Rancho Sahuarita Resident and local Pastor.
