TUCSON, ARIZONA, September 27, 2022 - The Gene C. Reid Park planning team needs your help to reimagine the future of Reid Park. Survey Two for the Reid Park planning process is now live here (bit.ly/reidparkreimagined). View the three park concept alternatives, and take a feedback survey. The survey will close on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11:59 p.m.

The Master Plan will provide an aspirational roadmap for Gene C. Reid Park's long-term evolution. The plan will be used to help guide future investments in the park with the confidence that they fit into a larger strategic vision. Having a park Master Plan is important to ensure that available resources are allocated efficiently and to the items of the highest priority. As future/ongoing reinvestments in the park are made, different funding sources will be used, as appropriate, to the project. State, federal, and local grants; private and nonprofit partnerships; and bonds are all likely sources of funding for capital improvements.

Tell us what you think.

About this survey

In Phase One of Reid Park Reimagined -- May and June of this year -- the Tucson community contributed 2,752 surveys and 21,599 comments about Reid Park. This wealth of information has helped to shape three concept alternatives with imaginative proposals for the future of Reid Park. These concepts are bold and will help the community identify trade-offs and priorities among diverse cultural, recreational, and environmental opportunities.

Community feedback from the Phase Two survey, the Sept. 10 open house, and pop-up events, focused on the three concept alternatives.

Learn more about the concept alternatives by participating in a special scavenger hunt at Gene C. Reid Park! Explore the Park to locate the 12 BIG IDEAS for the master plan. The more ideas you find and upload to the scavenger hunt site, the more opportunities you have to be a winner in the random prize drawing. Prizes will vary. Winners will be contacted one week after the scavenger hunt ends.
