TUCSON, ARIZONA – Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q has purchased a 1.57 acre parcel of land located at 2100 E. Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ in the Ajo Marketplace for a Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q restaurant.
This will be the restaurant’s first location in Tucson and fourth location in Arizona. Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q is based in San Antonio, TX and has 48 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida. The transaction closed on June 14, 2021. The new restaurant is expected to open 4th quarter of 2021.
Ajo Marketplace is located across from The Bridges, 350-acre master plan development, that includes the UA Tech Park, Geico Regional Headquarters with 2,000 employees, and JTED Joint Technical Educational Facility with 25,000 students in Phase I; all next to Banner University Center South Campus and the 100-acre Kino Sports Complex.
According to public records, the asset sold for $1.2 million.
