TUCSON, ARIZONA – The Southern Arizona chapter of CCIM is hosting a “Rookies & Rock Stars” event with two CCIM accredited courses being held in Tucson.

Commercial Real Estate Negotiations September 19th (8 Credit hours) and CI 103 User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate September 20-23rd (24 credit hours).

Lydia Bennett, CCIM will be the guest instructor for both courses being held at the Realty Executives Training Center, 6444 E Tanque Verde Road in Tucson. Local “Rock Stars” from the local chapter assisting will be Gary Heinfeld, CPA, CCIM, CGFM; James Robertson, Jr, MBA, CCIM; and Juan Teran, CCIM.

Lydia Bennett, CCIM, CPM, is a commercial real estate specialist who provides brokerage and advisory services to investors, users, developers, and owners. She is owner/president of Commercial Real Estate West Coast in Bellingham, Wash and a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute, who teaches domestically and internationally, and separately has helped develop and provide corporate training for national and international commercial real estate firms. She is on the Western Washington University (WWU) College of Business and Economics (CBE) Executive Advisory Board and is a guest lecturer. She was a finalist for Businesswoman of the Year (2003), was recognized in her community as a “Mover and Shaker” (2004), was named one of the top Seattle Power Women in the commercial real estate industry by Seattle Bisnow (2016), and most recently was named as a Commercial Real Estate Woman of Influence by GlobeSt.com (2021).

To earn the prestigious CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate.

Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.
