TUCSON, Ariz. – The Sundt Foundation awarded a total of $29,000 in grants to 16 Tucson-area nonprofits during its second-quarter disbursements.

“Our employee-owners contribute to the Sundt Foundation to give to the communities where they live and work,” said Randy Rusing, Sundt Foundation President. “We’re excited to support some great nonprofits for our second-quarter grant recipients in Southern Arizona.”

The Sundt Foundation awards grants quarterly to area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.

Second-quarter grants include:

$3,000 Grant Recipients

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona

$2,500 Grant Recipients

  • South Tucson Lions Club

$2,000 Grant Recipients

  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson
  • Echoing Hope Ranch
  • Educational Enrichment Foundation
  • Sahuarita Food Bank
  • Southern Arizona Association for the Visually Impaired
  • TMM Family Services, Inc.
  • Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network (TIHAN)

$1,500 Grant Recipients

  • Bag It
  • Community Home Repair Projects of Arizona
  • Flowing Wells Extension Program, Inc.
  • Integrative Touch for Kids
  • Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest

$1,000 Grant Recipients

  • Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program
  • Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona
