TUCSON, Ariz. (August 9, 2023) – The Terracon Foundation is pleased to announce the award of a $3,500 community grant to Tucson Clean & Beautiful (TCB).

The funds will support the Youth Environmental Leadership, Learning & Action (YELLA) Adopt A School mentoring program. Since 2015, TCB has been awarded $17,500 from the Terracon Foundation.

“As a member of TCB's Board of Directors, I am thrilled our application was recognized as being deserving of the grant and a big thank you to Katie Gannon, Executive Director at Tucson Clean & Beautiful, for doing most of the heavy lifting on the application,” said Derek D. Koller, CIH, CHMM, office manager in Terracon’s Tucson office, who championed the grants.

“I am both proud and grateful to be an employee-owner at a company that allows us to support and advocate for organizations in our community that we are involved with.”

Since its founding more than 15 years ago, the Terracon Foundation has awarded nearly $4 million to community organizations, universities, dependents of employees, and for disaster relief efforts.
