Real Estate Daily News The following Tucson lease report from the Real Estate Daily News comes from the Tucson metro area for the week January 13-17, 2014.

OFFICE SPACE – 201 N BONITA AVE, TUCSON
DeVry Inc., a global provider of educational services, has leased 26,036-square-feet of office space at Rio Nuevo Professional Plaza located at 201 N. Bonita Ave. in Tucson, Ariz. CBRE’s David Montijo negotiated on behalf of the landlord, RNPP, LLC. Carrington College, DeVry’s college division, represented by Newmark Knight Grubb Frank’s New York City office and took occupancy early January 2014. OFFICE SPACE – 2980 N CAMPBELL AVE, TUCSON
Local engineering firm Schneider & Associates Structural Engineers has leased 6,140-square-feet of office space at Campbell Plaza Offices located at 2980 N. Campbell Ave. in Tucson. CBRE’s Buzz Isaacson negotiated on behalf of the landlord, Campbell Plaza Two LLC. The tenant, who was represented by Andrew Sternberg of Oxford Realty Advisors, took occupancy early January 2014. RETAIL SPACES – 8987 E TANQUE VERDE RD, TUCSON
CBRE’s Jesse Peron and Peter Villaescusa have negotiated two leases totaling 5,460-square-feet at Bear Canyon Shopping Center located at 8987 E. Tanque Verde Rd. in Tucson. Negotiating on behalf of the landlord, Peron and Villaescusa have inked leases with Crossfit FIXX for 3,600-square-feet and the Tucson K-9 Learning Center for 1,860-square-feet. Crossfit FIXX was represented by Pat Welchert with Cushman Wakefield | Picor. Both tenants took occupancy in early December 2013. United Contractors Supply, Inc. leased approximately 4,369-square-feet of office space at 5232 E. Pima, Suites C & D, from 2030 East, LLC. United Contractors Supply is a privately held company based in Tucson. Aubrey Finkelstein of Vast Real Estate Solutions represented the landlord in the transaction. RETAIL SPACE – 9040 E VALENCIA RD, TUCSON
Leslie’s Poolmart, Inc. has leased 3,305 square feet at Rita Ranch Shopping Center located at 9040 E Valencia Rd. in Tucson. CBRE’s David Dutson negotiated on behalf of the landlord. The tenant, the national retailer of swimming pool supplies, was represented by Adam Madison with Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix office and will take occupancy in mid-January. Empire leased approximately 1,627-square-feet of retail space at 5232 E. Pima, Suite B from 2030 East, LLC. Aubrey Finkelstein of Vast Real Estate Solutions represented the landlord in the transaction.

OFFICE SPACE – 5929 E PIMA ST, STE 109, TUCSON
Frontera Financial LLC has leased 1,527 square feet of office space at 5929 E. Pima St. in Tucson. CBRE’s Bruce Suppes and David Montijo negotiated on behalf of the tenant. The landlord was represented by Jeff Zellet of Cushman & Wakefield | Picor. The tenant took occupancy of the space in early January 2014. Pil Sung Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy has leased 1,500 square feet at 6330 E. Golf Links Rd. CBRE’s David Dutson negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord, Karlin Real Estate LLC. Ashley Elicio Photography is coming to Cochise Plaza in Sierra Vista. Andy Seleznov, CCIM, Director of Leasing at Larsen Baker, is pleased to announce that Ashley Elicio Photography has leased a space at Cochise Plaza, located on the northeast corner of Fry Blvd and Coronado Rd in Sierra Visa, Arizona.
