PIMA COUNTY, Nov. 9, 2022 - Tucson’s historic 4th Avenue will once again get furry, scaly, and feathery as pets of all types and sizes join their people for a one-of-kind celebration of Pima County’s animal companions on Feb. 19, 2023.

In addition to hundreds of animals, the Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade will feature bands, floats, entertainers, costumed characters, cool vehicles, and more. The Feb. 19 Parade is produced by Friends of Pima Animal Care Center to support the pets and programs at Pima Animal Care Center.

Adding to the excitement, FOX11 and My18 will be televising this year’s parade, bringing the pageantry into homes across the community.

The Parade will traverse 4th Avenue from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the 4 Legs on 4th Festival until 3 p.m. The Festival will feature live entertainment and events on the Tucson Federal Credit Union Stage, courtesy of Arizona Music Connection, as well as the HSL Properties Adoption Extravaganza, Fun Zone, and vendor fair with pet-themed arts and crafts.

Registration for the Parade is now open and pet families are welcome to join the fun either in the Raising Cane’s Procesion de los Perros, Cat Convoy, or the Pet Pride parade segment for all other pet types. To participate in the Parade, people are asked to raise $50 or more in support of animals at PACC. Kids 16 and under can register for free with their families, making the Parade a fun outing for the whole family. Businesses and organizations are welcome to join the Parade as well, either by hosting a team or float.

Be among the first to register with family, friends, and co-workers at www.petsofpimaparade.com.

The Parade is made possible through the efforts of the Friends of PACC Parade Organizing Committee and support from Tucson Subaru, Tucson Federal Credit Union, Raising Cane’s, Central Pet, HSL Properties, Copper Dog Scotch Whisky, Comcast, Geico, Tucson International Airport, Fox11/My18, iHeartMedia, Arizona Daily Star/Tucson Media, Tucson Dog Magazine, Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, Tucson Comic-Con, and SunLink. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.
