FLAGSTAFF, ARIZ. (January 13, 2025)– Wespac Residential, Inc., a division of Wespac Construction, is proud to announce the commencement of infrastructure work for the highly anticipated Liv Sky Cottages housing development.
This transformative project, located in the Timber Sky community, will provide a sustainable living environment with state-of-the-art amenities and environmentally conscious design.
Wespac's scope of work for this project spans 32 acres and includes comprehensive grading, earthwork, utility installation, concrete paving, landscaping, and site fencing. The infrastructure package also incorporates off-site roadway improvements, such as adding half-street extensions along US Route 66 and Woody Mountain Road, enhanced pedestrian access, and sidewalk extensions to integrate the development seamlessly with its surroundings.
Liv Sky Cottages will uphold Flagstaff’s commitment to preserving its unique environment by adhering to International Dark Sky standards, ensuring minimal light pollution. Liv Communities will develop and operate this project, bringing its expertise in creating vibrant and community-focused living spaces to Flagstaff.
The Sky Cottages development plan includes 203 residential units designed to meet various housing needs: 117 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom, and 51 three-bedroom homes. A full 10 percent of these units are set aside under the city’s affordable housing policy, ensuring access to quality housing for individuals and families earning below Flagstaff’s median income.
“This project represents Wespac’s commitment to sustainability and community-focused development,” said Tyler Mark, Principal / Vice President at Wespac Residential, Inc. “Our team is thrilled to bring our expertise in construction and infrastructure to help create a living space that represents Flagstaff’s values and vision for the future.”
Construction began in late 2024 and is expected to be completed in summer 2027. Wespac is honored to collaborate with Ardurra Group Inc. and Liv Communities on this transformative development for Flagstaff residents.
