TUCSON, AZ - The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) will hold its International Conference at the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix from April 30 to May 2, 2015. The conference encourages WPO members to share business strategies and experience with other successful women from all over the world, and to learn from interactive seminars and speakers. The conference will bring together 850 WPO members and group chairs, and feature 5 workshops and 4 keynotes, including Cheryl Bachelder, CEO of Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen who will explain how she transformed an ailing restaurant chain into the darling of the industry by daring to serve the people in her organization through servant leadership.
This is the first year that WPO will offer 5 scholarships to cover the costs of conference tuition. Scholarships are donated by Verizon Wireless and available to women who qualify for WPO membership. Since 2012, Tucson has been home to two of the 117 worldwide chapters of WPO, serving more than 30 women who own local businesses in Tucson, Nogales and Sierra Vista.
