TUCSON, ARIZONA - The former McClintock's Steakhouse at Saguaro Ranch has now been completely renovated for the new luxury Saguaro Ranch Club.  The grand opening of the Club was last week.

Saguaro Property Development LLC, Scott Lundberg and Brian Peschel, development partners, bought the community in 2019 with a vision to make it the “Best of the Best” in luxury, natural desert, community living, a dream come true! Located at the northern end of Thornydale Drive in the Tortolita Mountains, north of Tucson.

The exclusive 1,100-acre gated community, 35 minutes north of downtown Tucson, is distinguished by an unexpected arrival experience — a private tunnel entrance. Everyone passing through this unique portal is wowed by a National Park like setting, discovering a secluded sanctuary that combines welcomed privacy with an active, outdoor lifestyle and diversity of amenities.

“We are excited to bring energy and purpose into Saguaro Ranch with a vision for healthy living and fitness in a one of a kind Sonoran Desert setting,” said Scott Lundberg, who also lives in the community. “We captured our longtime friend and past business partner, renowned southwest architect Ron Robinette, to help spearhead the establishment of a private homeowners clubhouse with special amenities and planned future home designs to make Saguaro Ranch an exclusive private community high up in the Tortolita Mountains of Tucson Arizona.”

Tucson-based Aqua Design International, a Landscape Architecture firm specializing in the design of swimming pools, spas and water features completed the design for the new Saguaro Ranch Owners’ Club pool and spa complex. Aqua Design International has designed some of the most iconic pool complexes in the world, including Amangiri, Four Seasons Punta Mita, Four Seasons Anguilla, Omni Tucson National, Loews Santa Monica Beach Resort, and many more. Robinette Architects, Inc., an award-winning local firm, designed the new Owners’ Club that has some of the Club’s most sought-after amenities in southwest Arizona including:

  • A multi-lane 25-yard lap pool with intimate patio, pools, and spa for a relaxing and soothing atmosphere.
  • Yoga area.
  • A sophisticated rooftop fitness suite promoting wellness and community.
  • Seating area with a two-sided fireplace showcasing stunning 180° views.
  • Sunshades and outdoor firepits.
  • Pickleball courts, bocce ball and horseshoe pits.
  • View tower with pool restrooms/showers on ground floor.
