GOODYEAR, Ariz. (Oct. 23, 2026) – Tim Brislin, CEO and President of Harvard Investments, will return as chair of the 2027 Phoenix CycleNation event, leading a coalition of Valley business leaders committed to advancing stroke awareness, prevention, and research through one of the region's fastest-growing philanthropic wellness initiatives.

Estrella, one of Arizona's premier master-planned communities, is again the local platform sponsor for Phoenix CycleNation. It will bring together corporate and community teams on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2027, to raise critical funds for the American Stroke Association while promoting heart health, brain health, and active living.

Participants will pedal with purpose, raising critical funds and awareness to support stroke research, education and prevention. More than a fitness challenge, CycleNation is a movement that brings people together to drive change, save lives, and help end the devastating impact of stroke and heart disease.

The event will overlook Estrella's scenic North Lake and feature a festive atmosphere for riders and spectators alike. Teams and individuals ride to raise awareness and funds supporting the lifesaving work of the American Stroke Association and the American Heart Association.

Hosting Phoenix CycleNation underscores Estrella's role as a community that brings people together around health, purpose, and giving back.

“By hosting Phoenix CycleNation, Estrella reinforces its commitment to wellness, connection and community-driven impact,” Brislin said. “We are creating a platform where philanthropy, lifestyle and celebration come together in a meaningful way.”

Stroke remains the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S., and the leading cause of long-term disability among older adults. Each year, approximately 800,000 Americans experience a stroke.

While most survive, many are left with lasting physical or cognitive impairments. Research shows that up to 80 percent of strokes may be preventable.

CycleNation is the American Stroke Association's nationwide movement to empower people to improve their health while raising awareness and funds to fight stroke. Through team-based stationary cycling events, participants support research, advocacy and education efforts that help save lives and improve brain health for all.

Companies, community members, and individuals across Metro Phoenix are invited to take part in this landmark event and help stop the cycle of stroke.
