SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – Artisan Colour is pleased to announce the hiring of industry veteran Thomas C. Benedict, who joins the firm as Director of Business Development to increase Artisan’s visibility among retailers to drive catalog and enterprising multi-channel initiatives.
Benedict possesses nearly 30 years of experience in graphic arts sales and management. Working with many of the most nationally recognized direct mailers, Benedict has been instrumental in providing effective marketing channel solutions to drive client success.

Benedict began his extensive career in the graphic arts with the Meredith Corporation, where he pursued a sales career that led to several sales leadership positions, including Western Regional Vice President of Sales for American Signature and RRD/LSC.
Benedict also served as Senior Vice President of Sales for the Banta Corporation, Quebecor and the Arandell Corporation. In addition, he co-founded Adronitis Marketing Group, an agency providing digital-based assets for both online and direct marketing strategies.
Artisan Colour began as a catalog production company in 1998. For its first five years, Artisan built a reputation as one of the top catalog production and color management companies in the nation, winning clients such as Neiman Marcus, Chico’s, Patagonia and Sundance Catalog. Artisan has since added other highly-recognizable national brands including Prana, Pottery Barn, Johnston & Murphy, Filson and Tommy John.
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Benedict earned a degree in business administration in 1981 from Iowa State University. He is a member of the National Etailing and Mailers Organization of America (NEMOA).
Away from the office, Benedict enjoys working on house projects and traveling with his wife Colleen.
